Homecrest is a warm and welcoming community of faith. Our Members and visitors include families with young children as well as members who have been a part of the Church for more than 50 years.
We have been a faithful witness in the Homecrest and Sheepshead Bay communities for the past 113
years, since 1900. We are the "southernmost" congregation in the NYC Presbytery geographically. Over the past 20+ years, this community has witnessed a dramatic demographic shift. Our church population has responded accordingly in providing a welcoming space for ALL of God's people. Thanks to the dedication, faithfulness and commitment of our members, and with God's blessings, Homecrest has continued to be a beacon to its community. We trust that God will continue to reveal God's presence in this community for years to come.

We have been blessed with a beautiful facility for worship and fellowship. In addition to the Homecrest Community Service, Inc., we also share our facilities with two other worshipping communities - the Brooklyn Chinese Alliance Church and the Brooklyn Christian Church.
We are a member congregation of the New York City Presbytery, Synod of the Northeast and the Presbyterian Church (USA). The Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and is open to all who have been baptized in faith, repentance and love through our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Mission is to serve God faithfully, as disciples of Jesus Christ, by:
- Proclaiming Jesus' gospel and calling others into his service;
- Working for peace and justice in our own community and for the reconciliation of the world;
- Ministering to the needs, spiritual and bodily, of both those within our church family and those outside; and
- Remaining faithful to the Reformed tradition as embodied in the confessions and order of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
